Nordic mythology in felt

Daily showcase is displaying five works by my mother – Majbrith Annesen. She have through many years been working with- and refining the art of felting. This year, she cooperates with GRIMA to make a felt festival in Denmark/Silkeborg.

What I want to show today is her work on five icons – (approx. 10.5 cm x 10.5 cm) They all share the theme of nordic mythology.

– Make sure to keep updated, as Majbrith Annesen currently is working on a website with vast information on filting methods and a huge variety of beautiful felted crafts and arts.

  1. I didn’t understand the concluding part of your article, could you please explain it more?

  2. Hi TechnoSid – if it is this part:

“Make sure to keep updated, as Majbrith Annesen currently is working on a website with vast information on filting methods and a huge variety of beautiful felted crafts and arts.”

Its just a notification about her website, that will soon be visible on the world wide web.

I will release the link to the website, as soon as the actual site is up and running. I hope that is ok. If you are interested in felting, and maybe attend the festival, let me know and i’ll make sure that there will be established a link between Majbrith and you.

    /regards!
